We are happy to announce that over the past two months DIA has gained two more full members: Martel Innovate and Politecnico di Milano.
Martel Innovate brings 30 years of experience as a digital innovation agency with a strong footprint in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Brussels. Company’s deep technical expertise in 5G/6G, Artificial Intelligence, Edge computing, and Quantum technologies aligns directly with DIA’s mission. With over 50 Horizon Europe projects won and a history of orchestrating over 200 multi-stakeholder collaborations, Martel provides specialized knowledge in funding advocacy and technical road mapping. Beyond research, they offer dedicated Media and Communication services that excel at community building and stakeholder engagement. Furthermore, their spin-off Digital for Planet (D4P) ensures a critical focus on the green digital transition, helping DIA members achieve long-term sustainability and global competitiveness for the European communications industry.
Politecnico di Milano is deeply engaged in research, innovation, education, and technology transfer, contributing significantly to the European innovation ecosystem and industrial value chains. Its mission and activities are fully aligned with the objectives and scope of the DIA, adding significant added value to the DIA through its strong academic excellence, research capacity, and established collaboration with industry and public institutions at both European and international levels. As one of Europe’s leading technical universities, POLIMI contributes cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary expertise, and a robust innovation ecosystem that bridges academia, industry, and policy. Through its experience in large-scale European projects, technology transfer activities, and engagement with industrial stakeholders, Politecnico di Milano can actively support knowledge exchange and the development of innovative solutions aligned with the objectives of the DIA. Furthermore, the university can contribute a strategic academic perspective, foster synergies among members, and support the association’s mission by strengthening links between research, innovation, and industrial development across Europe.
We fully welcome our new members and we are looking forward to their involvement and contributions to the DIA vision.
